Keeping Porchfest Safe, Fun & Welcoming for Everyone!

Porchfest is all about music, community, and creativity, but to keep everything running smoothly, we ask that all performers, vendors, attendees, and volunteers follow these simple guidelines.

Volume Control – Keep it Balanced

We love great music, but let’s make sure everyone can enjoy it!
Keep your volume at a reasonable level so it doesn’t drown out nearby performers.
If you're unsure, just ask us! We’ll help you gauge the right sound. If your music requires
If your music requires earplugs for survival, Porchfest might not be the best fit.

Let’s make sure every act can shine and be heard!

Traffic Awareness – Watch for Cars & Crowds

We’re sharing the village with cars, pedestrians, and maybe a rogue squirrel or two.
Be aware of traffic and crossing areas—stay on sidewalks where possible.
Performers and vendors should avoid blocking streets unless in designated areas.
Look out for each other and help keep the festival safe for everyone!

Violence-Free Zone – Keep it Friendly

Porchfest is about peace, music, and community. Let’s keep it that way!
No violence, aggressive behavior, or disruptions.
Mosh pits? Not here. Leave the heavy headbanging for another venue.
This is a family-friendly event—let’s make sure everyone feels welcome and safe.

Keep It Clean – Respect the Space

We’re guests in this village—let’s leave it better than we found it.
Use the trash bins provided—don’t leave litter behind.
If you see something out of place, lend a hand!
Vendors & food trucks must clean up their areas before leaving each day.
Keeping Boonville clean ensures Porchfest can return next year!

Stay on Schedule – Timing is Key

We love an encore, but sticking to your scheduled time keeps things running smoothly.
Performers must start and end on time—this ensures everyone gets a chance to shine.
Vendors should be set up by 10:30 AM and ready to go before festivalgoers arrive.
Running late? Let us know ASAP.

Personal Responsibility – You’re Accountable

Porchfest is a community-driven event. That means everyone is responsible for their own actions.
Bands, vendors, and attendees must act respectfully and be mindful of safety.
Porchfest, its organizers, and the village are NOT liable for personal injuries, damages, or lost/stolen items.
Need assistance? Volunteers are here to help—but your safety is in your hands.

Off the Streets by 9 PM – Respect the Locals

We love Boonville, and we want to keep our neighbors happy!

All Porchfest performances and events wrap up by 7:00 PM
Be courteous—stay off private lawns and respect private property.
Late-night bar events are not affiliated with Porchfest—what happens after 7 PM is on you, not us!
Let’s leave on a good note so we can do it all again next year!

Most Importantly – Have Fun!

At the end of the day, Porchfest is about joy, creativity, and community!
Encourage each other.
Make great memories.
